Stiletto
The stiletto is a re-creation of an antique sewing tool that has many uses for the sewer and needlecrafter. It can be used as a ripper where stitches are too fine for the regular ripper. It is handy for easing fabric under the foot of the sewing machine. It is also useful for holding down lace or ribbon as it is being sewn into a garment. Appliquers have discovered it and one lady describes it as her "6th finger".
